Interesting 4 zone rogaine format to challenge you from both a distance and time standpoint over the course of the race.
From the race website: “There will be numerous checkpoints in each zone with different point values. The ones closest to headquarters will have a lower point value and the ones further away and in more difficult to find locations will have a higher value. Competitors will have a limited amount of time in each zone, and will be required to check in at headquarters for safety before venturing into the next zone. For every minute they come in after the time limit, they will be deducted 10 points.”
