Urban mini adventure race in downtown Houston that includes trivia, photo hunts and various physical challenges. Definitely more of a fun type race than athletic, but could be a great way to introduce someone to adventure racing.
Location: Smithville, Texas (Rocky Hill Ranch)
Two courses will be offered:
- Terra Firma: 2-3 hour course for 2-person teams. Mountain biking (9-13 Miles), trail running (3-5 miles), and mystery events. No navigation skills needed and no paddling.
- Terra Firma Extreme: 8-12 hour course for 3-person teams. Mountain biking (30-40 miles), canoeing (10-13 miles), trail/road running (16-20 miles). Navigation will be done with a topo map.
